A Series of Adjustments

Adventures of an Aspiring Altruist

About

Hello!

I like to write. To be honest, this is simply my online diary. Except I’ll try and skip the boring and focus on the genuinely fun stuff.

I volunteer around the world, try and pave my way into a Humanitarian career and explore the world while I do it with my camera at the ready.

It all started here, while I was back at Nottingham University.

My writing involves potentially humorous sequences from my life, spiralling thoughts on society and inadequately phrased insights on travelling the world.

August 2015 saw blogs from India throughout the rickshaw run, driving a tuk-tuk raising money for the charity Children’s Homes in Kerala State before heading to Nepal in September to work for the NGO All Hands helping with earthquake relief. I then volunteered in the Calais Jungle in December before taking a job in the French Alps in 2016 to snowboard for a season.

I then built bamboo houses in Ecuador, climbed up to Everest Base Camp and to top it off, helped build three schools in Nepal.

Every now and again I’ll write a story or two, so if you’re very daring, give them a read on my flash fiction page and tell me what you think!

I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is always welcome.

Please subscribe and join me on my journey!
